- A united community is the first key to success for our children
- We need an informed public about decisions made by the school board
- Communication between administrators, teachers and parents is critcial
- We need a curriculum that helps develop our children in mind, body and spirit
- Our schools must tackle tough problems that face our children - drugs, alcohol, and gangs are all present in Barrow County
- We need funding for important programs such as the arts, theater, music, literature, etc
- Re-vitalizing our vocational programs to prepare our children for technical fields is a key element to long term success
- We should progress our children from pre-school to high school, preparing them for college or technical school, then the workforce, and our community
